Spectator is a mobile app for iOS or Android that makes it easy to view and record mixed reality content streamed from Magic Leap 2 applications. With powerful camera tools and quick device connectivity, it allows builders to showcase Magic Leap 2 content in a variety of ways.
AR Tour is a prototype for an interactive museum experience that we produced for AWE 2024. It allows users to view digital information attached to real-world artifacts, with interactions that are triggered by gaze, touch, or proximity.
Mica is a photoreal, virtual human brought to life by a sophisticated AI framework that drives a highly realistic gaze system, enabling compelling one-on-one experiences that observe the social cues of human interaction. Created for Magic Leap 1, Mica was experienced by festival goers at Sundance, The Game Developer's Conference, The Future of Everything Festival, The Future Investment Initiative, and others.
We collaborated with the Royal Shakespeare Company and actor Rober Gilbert to capture his performance at the Magic Leap motion capture stage in Culver City with 64 cameras and live audio. Post production consisted of reconstructing the 3D performance, building a CG environment, adding a particle system, and developing sophisticated post lighting tools. The mixed-reality piece toured on Magic Leap 1 to wide success at events such as Sundance, SXSW, Film Independent's The Portal, and others.
